Join San Diego Harbor Excursion and world famous Birch Aquarium at Scripps as we embark on a California Gray Whale watching adventure! Fully narrated, this three and half hour adventure allows close-up views of the mammoth California Gray Whale. Approximately 25,000 gray whales pass San Diego in their 7,000 mile annual migration from the Bering Sea to Baja California. Cruises explore the San Diego Harbor, and you may also see dolphins, sea lions, and much more, so bring your camera and be ready for the trip of a lifetime!

This exciting 5 1/2 hour guided nature tour takes you outside San Diego Bay into international waters for an up close and personal view of Los Coronado Islands. In addition to whales you could see dolphins, harbor seals, sea lions, kelp forests, and up to 80 varieties of sea birds and other marine life, much of which is just feet away. Learn about life on the islands, infamous “rum running” days, the old Casino, dead man’s island and more. Plus, see one of only two elephant seal rookeries within 300 miles. Don’t forget your camera!

Tour Time: Boarding is at 10:00am, Cruising from 10:15am - 3:45pm (Thursday - Sunday)

Come aboard our professionally narrated one hour tour of the beautiful San Diego Bay. This one hour excursion features views of the powerful U.S. Navy Fleet, the majestic Coronado Bay Bridge, and the Star of India, the oldest merchant ship afloat. Enjoy comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, inviting sun decks and food and beverage from our snack bar.
